LONGEVITY

More years — or years that work?

It is not about the number. It is about how many of them pass with sleep that restores, with a body that copes with stress, and with a reserve that is still there.

Does this sound familiar?

What it looks like day to day.

If you recognise three or more, it is worth looking not at each complaint separately, but at the system that connects them.

  • 01You recover more slowly than ten years ago
  • 02Sleep has become shallower
  • 03A load that used to be easy now shows for days
  • 04The tests are good, the feeling is not
  • 05You want to do something before a problem has appeared
What is actually happening

The complaint is on the surface. The control sits deeper.

The difference between lifespan and healthspan is the difference between the number of years and the years in good health. The second is determined by reserve — how quickly the body returns to balance after load.

That reserve is measurable, and it declines with age: heart rate variability drops, deep sleep shortens, recovery takes longer. This is not disease — this is a loss of flexibility.

Where NESA comes in

NESA works on exactly that flexibility: autonomic regulation, sleep and recovery. The device does not extend life and does not prevent disease — it supports the system that underlies the reserve.

How it works

We force nothing. We speak the language the body already uses.

NESA XSIGNAL® is a certified medical device for non-invasive neuromodulation of the autonomic nervous system.

01

Your body runs on electricity

The autonomic nervous system — the one that governs sleep, alertness, bladder and digestion — works at very low frequencies: between 1 and 14 cycles per second.

02

NESA speaks in the same window

Microcurrents in that same frequency range, delivered through gloves and ankle cuffs while you lie down or sit in a chair. No needles, no medication, no preparation.

03

The fact that you cannot feel it is why it works

The signal sits below the threshold of sensation. Because it does not trigger the body’s defences, the nervous system does not habituate to it, and the signal can accompany it session after session.

04

The practitioner’s hands stay free

The session runs alongside another therapy — physiotherapy, conversation, rehabilitation. Not a separate appointment, but a layer over the treatment already under way.

What to expect

When would I notice anything?

It depends on one thing: how long the regulation has been disturbed. We say so up front, so you know what to expect — and so you do not stop after the third session because nothing has happened yet.

SESSION 6–8

The first changes are usually felt here — most often in sleep and in recovery.

SESSION 10–30

The more substantial change comes in this range, at a steady rhythm of two sessions a week.

BLOCKS OF 10

With a chronic profile the work is done in blocks. After each block, a fresh assessment with objective measures, not by feel alone.

A guiding framework from practice, not a promise of results. The exact schedule is set by the practitioner delivering the treatment.

What the science says

The figures come from the manufacturer — with the source.

NESA is used in clinics and hospitals across 53 countries and is the subject of more than 20 peer-reviewed publications. The manufacturer publishes the results together with the journal and PMID of each study — so anyone can check the source themselves instead of relying on a retelling.

Common questions

Short answers, no hedging.

Does NESA extend life?

No — extending life is not the device’s task. Its task is autonomic regulation: sleep, recovery and stress adaptation. And a well-working autonomic nervous system is among the foundations of immune resilience — the body protects itself, NESA supports the system that directs that protection. The difference matters: we support the mechanism, we do not promise the result.

From what age does it make sense?

The reserve begins to decline long before it is felt. Most often people start between forty and sixty, but age alone is not a criterion.

Is anything measured?

Yes, and it is recommended: heart rate variability, sleep quality, recovery after load. Without measurement only the feeling remains.

Does it replace movement, sleep and nutrition?

No. They remain the foundation and nothing replaces them. NESA works on the regulation beneath them.

Other complaints

It rarely comes alone.

Complaints of the autonomic nervous system rarely arrive on their own. If you recognise another one here, that is most likely not a coincidence.

Complaint

Sleep

The bedroom ceiling. Again.

Complaint

Fatigue

I slept. And I am still empty.

Complaint

Blood flow and cold extremities

The blood does not reach where it should.
